We here at His Palette truly and deeply enjoy instructing classes and workshops for Christians in our community. We started our business teaching Bible journaling workshops at College of Southern Nevada. Now we instruct multiple faith-based mixed-media courses throughout the Las Vegas and Henderson areas at various locations.
Our intent has never been to make money with these classes and workshops, but to provide instructions and techniques, to our fellow sisters (and brothers), in the art of creative worship.
His Palette’s hope is to reach as many people as possible with all the exciting and creative ways to learn and grow in the Word, and to glorify our Almighty Father. Our purpose is to share creative studies and praise with Southern Nevada (maybe all of Nevada! or the whole nation! or even the entire world!).
So with that said, we would like to provide churches with our courses and workshops at a minimal cost. If this is something you would like to see at your home church, please continue reading for the 4-1-1 and to download printable information that you can pass on to your pastor.
What We Offer?
We offer two different options for your church and fellow church members.
The first option is Introduction to Bible Journaling, a one-day course. This workshop will provide a plethora of information, from what Bible journaling is to all the ways you can get started in your own Bible or the traveler’s notebook we’ll make in class.
The second option is Bible Journaling Fellowship, a 2-hour class. This class offers those already familiar with Bible journaling or those who just want to dive in without the floaties on, a fun-filled couple of hours to creatively worship the Lord.
Introduction to Bible Journaling
(4-hour workshop)
- what is Bible journaling, ways to create in and out of your Bible, and how to start
- hands-on project – make your own traveler’s notebook
- hands-on project – page prep – prepping a Bible page or a page in your traveler’s notebook, to prevent bleed through and strengthen your delicate Bible pages
- His Palette’s step-by-step Bible journaling process
- basic supplies to use in Bible journaling, instructor’s faves, and an array of optional tools and supplies
- techniques for the artistically challenged😉
- hands-on project – create one page in your own Bible or traveler’s notebook using everything you’ve learned
- raffle prizes and more
His Palette will provide all supplies and materials needed and used in the workshop (except Bibles). The cost is $25 per person.
Number of students: 5 – 20
Bible Journaling Fellowship
(2-hour class)
- His Palette’s step-by-step Bible journaling process
- hands-on project – create one page in your own Bible or on provided paper
- raffle prizes
His Palette will provide all supplies and materials needed and used in the class (except Bibles). The cost is $15 per person.
