On your mark! Get Set! GO!
Do you consider yourself creative? I’m not asking if you’re a talented artist or skilled painter, but are you creative? Do you enjoy making your own recipes for your women’s luncheon at church? Or do you like organizing photographs and making scrapbooks for each of your family members? Maybe you’re all about singing worship songs? Or your a teacher creating lesson plans? Whatever it is, whatever you do, YOU ARE CREATIVE.
I began writing in fifth grade. I started off with silly fun-in-the-sun and rainbows-are-pretty type poems and eventually graduated to the worst-of-the-worst, dripping with teenage angst, sappy, over-the-top, I-just-might-die poetry. Throughout my life I’ve written poetry, song lyrics, short stories and novels, none of which have been published. But note, writing makes me a creative person.
As a creative Christian, or as I like to refer to myself, a Jesus freak with a journaling Bible, I regularly try to find new ways to glorify God, to share His Word, and to nurture my relationship with Him. Out of this love and creativity His Palette was born.
To get the most out of this site and to receive all the freebies I offer (I mean blessings), at the very least, take time to look at my bible journaling and faith art sections. Whether you are familiar with art or you’re simply looking for new and exciting ways to fellowship with God, there is something for each of you. No matter your skill level, the season you’re in, the life you live or the faith goals you are currently trying to reach, you will find something of value here.
